As a college professor I meet more than 120 students in a year and only a handful truly stand out. Amnoni is one of the students who not only stands out but draws you in and has a personality and speaking style that makes you want to engage with her. I met Amnoni when teaching a graduate communication course in the National Urban Fellows program. From her very first speech, not only did I lean in a bit more than usual, but her classmates did, too. We were all in it from the beginning to the end. I was immediately impressed with her knowledge, impressed with her story, and impressed with her genuine passion. I’m so deeply impressed with Amnoni — from her thoughtfulness and her poise to her perseverant strength. Amnoni is a powerful voice for youth in foster care.  You can’t hear her speak without feeling deeply the immense potential within each child in foster care, the challenges they face and the gifts each one has to give.  Amnoni brings light and life into every room she enters.  I’m grateful to consider her a friend, and I know countless others feel the same.

Amnoni Myers is a passionate, bright young woman with a talent for connecting with both individuals and crowds. She is a gifted public speaker and has dedicated her life work to improving child welfare through public policy and advocacy. Amnoni Myers was a featured guest on my 30-minute radio program. From my first impression until now I continue to remain impressed with Amnoni. She is an excellent communicator, representing herself well. I reached out to her to be a guest on my show and she promptly replied to my request and all subsequent emails.
